Sanitary Sewer System

Akron Borough maintains approximately 14 miles of sewer main and 5 pump stations.  All sewage is pumped to Ephrata Borough Wastewater Treatment Plant #1 for processing.

  • All Additional                      1,000 Gallons             $15.25

 

A Sewer Line Replacement Project will be starting in March.

The project area is South Tenth Street between New Street and Walnut Street.  The second area is New Street between Ninth Street and Tenth Street.

The project is moving along.
